We have been in the Contract CNC Programming business since 2001. We started 4 Hire Tek when there was a death in our family and we moved from California back to Michigan to help out with family matters. This is where I grew up and apprenticed to learn the skills required to be a machinist. We are located in the Saginaw Bay area of Michigan, (Michigan's Thumb Area) or more specifically in Tuscola county on the outskirts of the city of Caro.

   We have been "hands on" manual machinists for the past 35 yrs. and have been programming CNC machines for over 15 yrs. Although we hate to age ourselves, when we started, most machining was done manually. (What would we have done without Bridgeports) We have a history of learning from some of the best. The correct ways to hold and machine assorted parts of different sizes and shapes. We understand where to start the machining process, which direction to go, and what steps are needed to make completed parts in an orderly and time efficient manner.

   We have written CNC programming for the automotive industry, the aeronautics industry, the medical industry and the electronics industry. We have worked with quite a variety of business owners, from small 2 or 3 person machine shops, to the likes of Northrop-Grumman.

   Our specialty is creating CNC machine tool programming paths for vertical and horizontal mills, (including those with pallets for production work). We can do the CAD design of your prototypes, whether from your sketches and or drawings and the CAM programming of these same parts. We have a partnership with a medium sized machine shop, so if you need it, we can also handle the manufacturing of your parts. We can also write CNC machine programs from your existing parts or drawings. If it needs to be machined in a timely and cost effective manner, we can do that for you.
