We prefer to use  BobCad-Cam Ver. 21  because of it's great versatility and ease of editing while creating CNC programs. This is especially true when we are writing programs for production type jobs, where we may require the use of numerous subprograms. The ability to edit on the fly, saves us a lot of time which in turn also saves you money !!

   We recently upgraded our BobCad-Cam software to include the new BobART Pro-X system. This new addition now offers us the ability to create 2D contours from your color or black and white images. This is a great addition for us, giving us a new capability for anyone wishing to engrave there Logo, copyright notice or anything else you might need, directly from your photos! Whether they be for engraving, pocketing or profile machining. Formats we can import are: jpg, Bitmap, gif and png images.

   4 Hire Tek specializes in CAD/CAM, CNC and NC contract programming services. We also offer consulting or estimating and have a working partnership with a mid sized machine shop. With this partnership we can bring your parts from concept to finished parts. We have an extensive background in CNC Machining, Fixture Design and Part Design, with over 35 years of experience, which gives us the ability to tackle even the most challenging projects. We want to work with you, doing what it takes to see a project through from concept to finished product.

   We will create all the drawings (for each step in the process) and setup sheets required for your CNC programs. This will make it much easier for your machinists to grasp each step in the manufacturing process. Our set up sheets will also include tool numbers, tool size and any cutter comp numbers required, along with X 0.0, Y 0.0 and Z 0.0 locations. BobCad-Cam can also give us time estimates on how long the machining time will take for each operation, and or the total cycle time. This can be very handy for you, when you are quoting customer parts. We can also design and program fixturing for your parts, or build them for you.
